Savitri C.B.C. St. John, LL.B.

Savitri St. John is a Partner in the Property Department. She was born in Grenada, West Indies, and was enrolled as member of the Grenada Bar in 1994. She practiced commercial and real estate law in Grenada with the firm of Henry, Henry and Bristol until 1997 when she moved to Barbados and was admitted to practice there. She was employed as an associate with the firm of Clarke & Co. Since then she has specialized in real estate law.

Savitri has worked extensively with commercial banks, insurance companies and other lending institutions. She has provided advice on title and security documents for residential loans, including a complete revision of security documents used by a commercial bank, and has given training seminars for loans officers.

She has worked with lenders on capital projects, including hotels, commercial properties and residential real estate developments. Savitri has also worked with real estate developers and private individuals seeking advice on or carrying out real estate transactions.

Savitri has completed and been asked to coach the Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution Workshop presented by the Stitt Feld Handy Group.
